Dear Friends,
Thank you for your support in making our fourth fundraiser at Elks Hall in Norwood a huge success! The funds raised will help support the needs of children and young adults per our mission.

We were honored to have Len and Cherylann Gengel speak to us about their mission to build an orphanage in Grand Goave, Haiti in memory of their daughter Britney who was among more than 300,000 people killed in the Jan. 12, 2010 earthquake in Port-au-Prince. Britney was a 19 year-old student at Lynn University in Florida and had arrived in Haiti the day before the earthquake to work with orphans.

The Gengels were humbled to receive a $100,000 donation from the Christopher Catanese Children's Foundation to support their efforts in building the orphanage. In honor of Chris, one room in the Be Like Brit Orphanage will bear Christopher's name.

Our gala had over a hundred items that were graciously donated for our silent and live auctions. There were close to 300 guests who enjoyed bidding on them. Our Program Book included ads and personal notes from individuals and businesses throughout the area.

The food catered by Ronnie was sumptuous, and we appreciate the help of those who donated their time to work at the event.

Father John was an exceptional MC. We value his support as well as all of you who made this event special.

Please continue to visit the site to view an updated list of the CCCF recipients and to keep abreast of upcoming events. We sincerely thank you for your help and look forward to working with you in the future.

Sincerely,

The Catanese Family
